The Bay Area Doll Club of Texas will host its International Spring Into Summer 2012 Doll Festival and International Doll Makers Society Competition March 22-24, 2012 at the Marriott Hotel in Houston, Texas.  The theme this year is "April in Paris".  This is the first year IDMS will have a competition in the United States. 

Included in the registration this year will be a Welcome Party on Thursday evening; lunch on both Thursday and Friday; a theme dinner Friday evening; and a banquet on Saturday evening; a souvenir doll will be presented by Karen Martinez

Nada Christensen will be performing at the Cocktail Party on Thursday Evening. For those who bring a toy or make a monetary donation to Toys for Tots and League City's Blue Santa, will receive 10 Helper Tickets.

There will also be a SPECIAL LUNCHEON on Friday, March 23rd, with Joyce Murch presenting her French Can Can Mignonnette to her guests.  Hurry and sign up as limited to only 25.  Details will be in your registration packets.

Our show promises to be packed with Lectures from Kathy Monier, Karen Martinez, Joyce Murch, Terrie Strohecker, and more, Workshops, Make-N-Takes in the Sales Room, International Doll Makers Society Doll Competition, top awards presented by Bay Area Doll Club, International Doll Makers Society, Collectible Doll Company, and International Doll Artist, and a sales room packed with lots of wonderful items to buy.  We invite you to come and join the fun.
